Reeling after shocking results of this week’s U.S. election, protesters have taken to the streets rallying against Donald Trump being named 45th President of the United States as Hillary Clinton, our first female president and the presupposed winner, wins the popular vote. If Trump is indeed sworn in, tech billionaires in the Silicon Valley proposed the idea of #CalExit, a Brexit like situation where California, the 5th largest economy in the world, would break off from the rest of the United States under Trump and create our own progressive country.
